The Pima County
Assessor's Office is converting from paper maps to electronic maps. As a
result, each Assessor's Record Map is stored in one of two basic formats,
depending on the source of each specific map. You need appropriate software to
view any of the formats online. If you
experience problems viewing any of the below map formats; it is recommended
that you read all instructions below prior to downloading any of the plug-ins.
Each Assessor's Record Map is in one of these formats:
You can view TIFF files directly on the web by using a
web browser plug-in or helper application outside of your web browser. Most of
these options let you view the images with pan and zoom capability. A TIFF
viewer plug-in lets you view the image in your web browser. This site was
designed to work best with viewing solutions integrated with your web browser.
Any of these options can be used with the TIFF images on this web site.
Macintosh users should see Viewing TIFF Images
on a Macintosh. Your internet browser should be able to handle this without
problems. Download and install a TIFF image viewer
plug-in to view the scanned maps.
Download and install http://www.kamelsoftware.com/. FastLook Plus 11.0 allows
viewing AutoCAD DWG files. The "FastLook Plus 11.0" demo
version is free.

Printing Assessor Record Maps
If printed pages from the Assessor are truncated on the right, set your printer
options to use landscape paper orientation. You should also set
"Options" to "Print to fit page" if right side of map is
truncated. To print from the Pima
County Assessor's Office web pages using
Netscape, you may need to set Netscape's Black Text option. Follow the
Netscape menus File, Page Setup... and then check "Black Text". Or
set "Always use my colors, overriding
document" under Edit, Preferences, Appearance, Colors .
There are several tabular ways to find an Assessor's
Record Map.
