Mission
The Assessor’s Office is dedicated to maintaining accurate records of all property in Pima County for the purpose of property taxation. To efficiently serve the taxpayers and various taxing jurisdictions in administering the laws of the State of Arizona, to assure that all county property is valued fairly and equitably.
The Assessor's Office will:
- provide prompt, efficient and courteous service to the public;
- add all new construction to the roll in a timely manner and maintain property use records for all existing real property;
- review and adjust land values annually;
- provide all property owners an opportunity to have their values reviewed in a professional and timely manner;
- map all property configurations and process all land divisions and land combinations as they are recorded;
- maintain an up to date ownership list of all privately owned property;
- maintain records of all mobile home ownership;
- process all statutory exemptions annually; and
- establish values of commercial personal property based on business property statements filed annually.
