Tax Year 2009

A Note about Legislative Classes and the 2001 files:

Users of this data should be aware that the numbering scheme for Legislative Classes has been changed for 2001 pursuant to ARS 42-12001 through 42-12009. The Assessor has elected to maintain these indicators using the previous numbering. A conversion table is then applied to translate this data into the new numbering when Notices of Value or other formal documents are issued. Members of the public who wish to utilize these files to support the preparation of Petitions for Review or other remedies should complete a similar conversion before appeals are filed. A copy of the conversion table is supplied for this purpose.

Also the format for the download files has changed for 2009.

New format for Notice and Supplemental Files:

Users should also be aware that the format for the above files has been altered. In the case of most residential properties, you will no longer see separate land and improvement values but rather a total value (currentfcv). The value established for these properties is a unitary market value. It is considered as one subject, not to be broken into separate components of land and improvements.
